Poetry
Do not ever become fooled,
Of every perfect gift;
If so ever ridiculed,
That their mockery is swift.
The Father had made the sun,
As well as the stars and moon;
Long before time had begun,
As His Son will return soon.
The Father will never change,
Unlike the shifting shadows;
As each one He did arrange,
Emplacement where each one goes.
God decided to give life,
Us all through the Word of truth;
And discipline us with strife,
If we do become uncouth.
But the Father has made us,
His most important creatures;
To be rationale as thus,
Intellectual features.
Each of you be quick to hear,
And always be slow to speak;
Keep from anger coming near,
Thoroughly check when you seek.
Rid immoral behavior,
And all of the wicked things;
Humbly accept His favor,
Whatever purity brings.
Do what the Word of God tells,
Merely not listen to it;
Your merit shows where one dwells,
And how much you inherit.
It all reflects upon you,
Like looking in a mirror;
How deceitful or how true,
Your focus becomes clearer.
