Monday again! A door opens into a brand-new week and a new adventure.  Mondays introduce us to a journey we have never before taken!  What could it be that lays before us, ready to bless us?

What is God going to do this week? What is He going to teach us? Is He going to take our breath away with His wisdom? with His beautiful creation? Through our loved ones? Through our children? Will His powerful word generate an indescribable joy within us? How is He going to touch and warm our hearts? Will we see His wonderful hands unfold His truth, His power, His will?  What friend will we have the chance to put our arms around? Will we have the chance this week to feel Him near as we cry in joy, or in pain? Is He going to intersect our path this week with someone without hope? Will we obey Him and cheerfully serve Him? Will God make us His vessels? I wonder if He is going to test our faith... will we trust Him? Oh, how delightful and adventurous Mondays truly are!

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that we give thanks in our Monday, and in everything that unfolds this week.  We thank You for another week, another chance to see Your glory, another chance to do Your work, another chance to build our character and to draw closer to You.  In the name of Jesus, thank You for this Monday! Amen.
