What a beautiful declaration by King David, the Psalmist, and Worshiper.It was his lifestyle of worship that made the King to be called "a man after God's own heart".

True Worship causes us to focus on the Lord God Almighty.This demands us to take our eyes off our trials, toils, travails or even triumphs to focus totally on Him.Thereby, beholding His Supremacy, Strength, and Sovereignty.


As we truly worship, we declare to the Lord God Almighty His worth in our lives and usually, we express it through songs of praise, thanksgiving and adoration. However, it involves more than merely singing songs to God.A lifestyle of worship is what we, as Christians are called to.This is to be expressed in our everyday lives as we learn to put God first in all we do and always acknowledge Him as our all in all.

True Worship is the one thing that is needful which Mary chose above her sister Martha.(LK.10:38-42)Such attentiveness to the words of Christ and readiness to do His will.Mary was able to feel the heartbeat of Christ and thus did the right thing at the right time.

In expression of true worship,

"Mary took a very expensive bottle of perfume and poured it on Jesus' feet.She wiped them with her hair , and the sweet smell of the perfume filled the house".Lk.12:3(CEV)
