There is a mountain that can be scaled, but not easily by some of God’s chosen few.
It is a place of blessing most never desire to summit during their life while passing through.

At the base camp a person can obtain all the useful training, and any needed supplies.
Everything that could possibly be needed is made readily available to all willing to make the ascent into the skies.

Many are called, but few be chosen, and even fewer still will fix their hearts to attempt this great feat.
Most completely satisfied to mingle around base camp as though gathering supplies, their list never seems to be complete.

Some coming to attempt their journey are forever hindered by boasters claiming knowledge of the mount, as if they were a guide.
Other bottom dwellers when asked by new comers full of zeal coming to summit the mount, excuse themselves and hide.

Many old heads, once possessing zeal being restrained from their ascent, now give their lives to do the very same.
Speaking only of the many hardships that will surely be encountered, not realizing they are foaming out their own shame.

Conversations are guarded, but they will tell of a man named Caleb, who came at an old age to give the mountain a shot.
But we never seen or heard from him again. So there is no way we can be sure if he even made it or not.

You know there are giants that you also must fight if you choose to try this nigh impossible task they will say.
You will appear as grasshoppers in the giants sight, but if you must go we will try to remember and pray.

To those determined, they will only point you toward a straight, narrow path, and in the distance an even more narrow gate.
Not one of them will help you down the path, you find most supplies won’t fit through the gate, it’s too narrow and straight.

There can be seen a load of unnecessary supplies left outside the gate, left there by other pilgrims willing to go in this way.
Now realizing the possibility of meeting others in this journey, the pilgrim makes haste while it is still day.

When darkness started falling, in the distance he could make out a very little shack, with just a single light.
He got there in complete darkness, knocked on the door, the Good Man invited him to come in and stay for the night.

The Good Man exhorted him to keep climbing, for anyone that takes this mountain, will certainly have no regrets.
The King of this mountain favors all those willing to pay the price, so regardless of the difficulty do not fret.

The journeyman was much encouraged now, continuing upward being warned by the Good Man to never look back or turn around.
The way at times was hard, but not impossible for his strength was renewed daily, and his feet were on solid ground.

The journeyman finally took the mountain, for the King of that Mountain is gracious, and merciful to those with a true desire.
As for the bottom dwellers, hindering those that would, they were appointed their place in the burning, lake of fire.
