TODAY’S KEY VERSE

But the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. EXODUS 14:29 (NKJV)

--LAND IN THE MIDST OF SEA--

Have you ever been to the ocean? Witnessed the waves crash into the shore? It is a beautiful and breath-taking sight. Now imagine those same waves with the knowledge an enemy army is closing in on you. The waves signaling that you can go no further that direction and certain death is racing at you from the opposite side. Then suddenly the sea opens up and a small dirt trail appears. God has provided you away, but it is muddy, rocky, noisy, and a scary path.

Some times the path God opens up is an easy one to spot. It is the only way possible, but that passage seems treacherous. God loves us enough and believes in us enough to open up ways that are difficult. He believes we will trust in Him and allow Him to help us make the difficult journey. We have to take a step into the scary unknown. Hesitating or not going at all could be hazardous to our spiritual, physical, and emotional well being. 

Prayer: Dear God, show me your paths today. Give me the courage to walk in them, even if they are not easy. Let my soul trust in you, and give me grace when doubts creep in. Amen.
