I

I am in this world
Yet, I am in my own world
Every night I cry and curl
Like an infant due to my turmoil
Emotional turmoil, that is-
I don’t understand its disturbance
It won’t go away; just stays
It’s not minor, but a huge pain

To whom would I tell…?
My miseries, agonies, and fears
With my salty shedding tears
My close knit family and friends
No…Because…
Though I hurt inside
I maintain my pride

III

So, I awake in the A.M.
There, the SUN shines upon me
My tears subside on my pillow
Forever, my sorrows are gone
The Great Spirit listened
In the midst of my derisions…
Now, after the strife
I love my life
