In Thy presence O Lord.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

John 3:18-21 NKJV

We by nature are sinners, for in grinded in us is the nature of sin, to lie and do the works of the flesh.

Only God in His mercy and goodness can bring us out of our pathetic condition.

God desires and delights to deliver our souls from the bondage of sin for we are precious in His presence.

This is the offer which the Lord provides to all..

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.

Isaiah 1:18 NKJV

The offer to a pure and holy life is open to all. The Lord has paid the price for our holiness by dying on our behalf on the cross.

We need to believe in Him and receive Him as our personal Savior to come out of our condemnation.

The one condemnation which is the most bitter and catastrophic is alienation from God. As it is blessedly said that “If God is with us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)”, however a reverse scenario would be “If God is not with us, everyone will overpower us.”

If we want to be victorious is life, free from the curse, stigma and shame of sin, we need to ensure that God’s presence is there with us and in us, for without Christ in our boat, we are sure to sink.

The best our strength can avail is a failed attempt to stay safe against the mighty and stormy blows the devil brings against us, however it just needs a Word and command from our Savior to calm down the storm.

The devil will continue to beat his mighty blows against us to destroy us, however let all our effort be directed only towards this blessed state of ensuring the Lord’s presence in our life.

I know O Lord, that storms will come,

They will come to beat me down,

The devil will try his best to put me in despair,

So by sinning I may lose my crown.

Yet for one thing that my heart will praise,

I’ll ensure Thy presence with me always,

For when Thou art my Shepherd and King,

Goodness and mercy shall follow me all of my days.
