COVENANT OF BLESSING

Oh God you delight in your children’s prosperity;
That’s why you have commanded your blessing,
For your abounding love to endure to eternity;
To establish your covenant we keep on pressing.

Abraham’s blessing extended to the gentiles;
True wealth and riches are from Jehovah-Jireh.
Those who were formerly estranged utter exiles,
Are now partakers of the commonwealth of Israel.

Rejoice you that were consigned to hopelessness!
Arise by faith and possess your possession!
Our Saviour has robed you with righteousness;
By His promises, dare to claim your divine position.

Our Lord Jesus remains your hope of glory;
By His poverty He has given you His true riches,
For He has a purpose for changing your story,
To everyone prepared His covenant reaches.

His own true wealth adds to your abundant life,
So keep seeking His Kingdom and righteousness;
When He adds be sure He would not deprive,
Be eternally engaged with His Kingdom business.

Please Lord! Enlarge our coast more than Jabez!
Establish your covenant with your children,
For your inheritance you’ve reserved your best,
Your Kingdom and blessing surely without end.
