Embracing glances
A smile that dances
Only exists now in my memory

Tweaker's digress 
House of distress 
I declared war on my own family

Eyes that plead
Seek me in their need
Hostage to the heart's dependencies

Most need the crutch
Return for family's touch
But will the heart eventually?

Friends no more
Head nod's a chore
Til a divine pause in how you avoid me

Bump-in by chance
You-know-who's circumstance 
And He has dismissed all options to flee

Your uh-oh face
Your body braced
All set to sail in my rough seas?

But walls do burn
Your listening returns
But will the heart eventually?  

Twenty year mates
Divorce at the gates
Cause I worked the for worse part from a to z

All my lies 
Disdained your eyes
Does for better now mean sans Yours Cruelly?

Full of holes
Our one messy soul
Yet your vows still possess their eternity

Despite inner yearns 
To us you return 
But will the heart eventually? 

With prayers and beads
You voice your needs
It's how you all choose to relate to me

My anger brings floods
My love Savior's blood
Am I to settle for lukewarm & empty?

Parts of My whole
Knitted throughout your soul
So we will spend your life in intimacy

Not one more second apart
The instant you call Me to your heart
It doesn't have to be eventually.
