Swallowed in joy
Omniscient butler employed
Mandate he fix all that I have destroyed
Earnest zeal leaps
Foil to my faith that creeps
Echo worship songs but verse never seeps
Lower my pride
Lean on my fast stride
Outwardly I role play while the same guy inside
Near sighted from plank
Ready for brothers less frank
Overburdened by a god whom I never thank
Celebration to dryness
King’s love to czar’s wryness
Young joy sapped clinging to Judgment’s D-minus
Prayed Jesus so vested
Loyal obedience attested
Abandon the fight as soon as my faith was tested
Ceasing door knocks
Eager pursuit out-of-stock
Surrendered the gospel as roots cut-off by rock
