Is your thinking worthy?

One day I had an argument with my spouse for a "no good reason "! It just started with silly, playful talk and then I started shouting at my spouse out of blue! I sat down to pray and I just couldn't! There was no point in shouting , arguing, not able to control anger and again praying! I took a deep breath and opened the Bible!

Philippians 4:8 Paul said "fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable and right, pure and lovely and admirable! Think about things that are excellent and WORTHY OF PRAISE!"

I repeat this think about things that are worthy of praise!
I realized then, the problem wasn't with my spouse, the problem was with me, my thinking and my thoughts! Many times in life we over think a lot of things, especially women! We tend to think of things that are not worth while! Overthinking give food to negativity, it gives way to wrong ideas and that starts influencing your life! Instead of concentrating on the negative things in life, hurtful things in life, I felt we should concentrate on God and forgiving and loving! This doesn't apply only for couples, but for everyone! Your friends , in laws, neighbors, colleagues or whoever it maybe, don't over think about something that they said or haven't said! It shouldn't matter to you! Be strong, be confident not because of what you have or don't have but because of God! Jesus loved us no matter who we are, how we are and he wants you to love others too! Improve your relationship with God and then everything will fall into place! It worked for me! Now I don't overthink about anyone, I leave it to God and because of that I'm at peace more than ever! It can work for you too!
