My journey in life is a halfway affair.
Alone I am half; with You I am whole.
Your Spirit makes me vigil and aware.
I'm climbing stairs to Heaven, My Goal.

From Heaven You did to Earth descend.
My heart, the halfway point, You found.
Human interest Your Grace transcends.
Anointing penetrates with silent sound.

The church is a halfway place we meet.
Radiantly You shine Your Holy Light.
You see me, Lord, sitting in my seat.
Only in You am I a wholly, pure delight.

I was half; whole, Your Love, made me.
Your scars and nail marks had to be.
No halfway giving came on Your Part.
That is why I give completely my heart.
