"The Loaves and Fishes"

There is a miracle that was spectacular.
It deifies explanation in any vernacular.
A lad was available with bread and fish.
It turned out timely to be the main dish.

Let's go back and examine more closely.
5,000 people were plain hungry mostly.
Where could food for so many be bought?
6 months wages would barely feed the lot.

Andrew knew that he was on to something.
Here was a boy with 5 loaves and 2 fishes.
How could so little possibly be comforting?
The lad's fishes made some miracle dishes!

The Lord said, "Bring him to me!
Father, I pray to Thee
That they may see.
You provide for us plenty.
You do it miraculously!"

Jesus had them on the ground all recline.
Everyone there was blessed; they did dine.
Who got the 12 baskets of food left over?
My guess is that they all ate again moreover.

Ponder; if you're present there at the scene,
You would be amazed; know what I mean?
No wonder people wanted Him to be King.
This was a very phenomenal miracle-thing.

I think that if I could go back in time to then;
I'd choose to be a witness of Jesus when
He demonstrated His Love with His Powers.
This marvelous miracle's satisfaction towers!
