How good are we united and is there a need for us to be one in heart and soul in the body of Christ?
When the enemies came to attack Joshua, they came with one accord.
" that they gathered together to fight with Joshua and Israel with one accord." Joshua 9:2 (NKJV)
Even the devil understands the importance of unity, however often we ignore this great strength.
When Jesus prayed for us in the garden of Gethsemane, He prayed thus for us...
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. " John 17:20-21 (NKJV)
God wants us to stay united and enter His glory with one accord.
It is the most hurtful thing for the devil when he sees the children of God unitedly worshipping their heavenly Father.
Often to stay united, we may have to humble ourselves, sacrifice our pride and set aside our crowns of vain glory.
Believe me that if we pursue unity in the body of Christ, we will bless the heart of God and will receive all He has kept for His peacekeepers and for them who do His perfect will.
We are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ and we will soar high and reach far when we stay in one accord in His perfect will.
