"One Blessed Day"

One blessed day
I decided to pray.
That was when
You came my way.

My universe was empty.
Life seemed dull.
I reached out
And found life after all.

"Lord bring her to me",
I prayed on my knees.
One fine day
It came to be.

You were out there,
Meant for me.
I kept believing.
God's Hand I did see.

Now my day is bright
As can be.
One blessed day
His answer came to me.

I am thankful
For that Grace filled day,
The day that
I decided to pray.

It only takes
A moment in time
To fill a day
With something divine.

Now all of my days
Are blessed.
It worked for one.
Why not for the rest?

Since I found her
We pray together.
We use a little faith.
God does it best.
