LAST MISTAKE

Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life … The only reason that I still breathe
The awesome power of His glory and might … Is the only truth in which I believe
From the depths of the seas … To the vastness of space
He’s the gentle breeze … That caresses my face

To gaze up at the stars … In the quiet of night
What will soon be ours … As we ascend toward the light
At the sound of a trumpet … High in the clouds
As He throws down His gauntlet … And does away with the proud

To gather up silver and gold for safety … And store up a barn full of food
To survive what is coming is a wishful maybe … For those who believe that their being so shrewd

The full fury of the wrath … Of our Almighty God
Will destroy all they have … As they cower in awe
As He first uses laws … Of nature created
All done for His cause … As evil cremated
Then finished from a dimension … That is out of this world
As He gains full attention … When the heavens unfurl

A Love for the truth … The choice yours to make
Or you will lose … With your last mistake
All you need do … Is simply believe
Don’t be a fool … And reject the Lord’s plea
