"The Statue of Liberty"

Oh, Lady, you are a beautiful sight
Representing freedom day and night.
To many you are a welcoming friend
Greeting them at their journey's end.

Your torch light in our hearts ignites
A spark of hope for liberty's delights.
"Come life's wayfarers and be free."
"Welcome to the Land of Democracy."

Inscribed on the tablet is July 4, 1776.
Tyranny, America and Frence did fix.
Oppressed they fought the good fight.
Their hearts carried God's Truth Light.

Heanenly Liberty Maker keep us free.
Recall, "One if by land, two if by sea".
Lady of Liberty stir up patriotic memory.
Be history's reminder for people to see.

You stand symbolic for freedom's way.
Icon of Liberty, proud you stand today.
In a sense you depict American Charm.
A reminder: God keeps U S from harm.

A majestic sight standing in that harbor,
You continually stir our national ardor.
Your right foot is raised to move ahead.
May God keep us in His Divine Stead.
