Remember what once you were,
Not as a professing Jew;
Rather a change did occur,
When Jesus entered in you.

Rough edges had to be smooth,
As the Spirit worked His hands;
You had to fit in the groove,
By following the commands.

You were left out of the pledge,
An excluded demeanor;
Left dangling on the ledge,
Far from grass that was greener.

But God had made His promise,
That was foreign unto you;
And like a doubting Thomas,
Too difficult to construe.

You had no hope without God,
Instead now through Jesus Christ;
You could give honor and laud,
Through Him who was sacrificed.

You had felt so far away,
But Jesus Christ brought you near;
By His blood molds you like clay,
You feel the love that is dear.

Through Christ He is our peace,
Made for all of us alike;
That your agony will cease,
Making you His little tyke.

Christ brought an end to demands,
Through all that Moses had taught;
Replaced with two small commands,
Both dealing that love is sought.

Christ came with the Good News,
Of peace for you that was near;
And that all people could choose,
To be loving and sincere.

That is why you are no more,
Foreigners or outsiders;
But having a open door,
As spiritual providers.
