LET THE GAMES BEGIN

To live a life in abundance … To be in possession of all their wants
To wallow in sinful indulgence … Yielding to Satan’s taunts
Twisting truth to please the ears … Makes them feel so fine
Prophecies nothing to fear … Judgements not in our time

Professional musicians fill the air … With sweet and lovely melodies
Our country in despair … They’re blinded to the agonies
To whom is this addressed … A Church that is lukewarm
Where our Lord has been compressed … His Justness held in scorn

A terrible abomination … Accepted evil in our land
Will bring judgment on this Nation … That only a few will understand
True believers now forced in hiding … As twas’ at the start
In waiting and abiding … Soon now will depart

And then will come delusion … And a hardening of foolish hearts
As all those in confusion … Begin to fall apart
There are those who saw it coming … And attempted to be prepared
Unaware of the powerful evil cunning … Of the powers in the air

When the only preparation … Is a heartfelt true belief
And a committed dedication … To the ONE who brings relief
So now it’s “Let the games begin” … As it was in the days of Rome
As the world is judged for sins … Once we are taken home
