The Wall of Fire, the Glacier of Ice

i looked and saw Chinese men and women with their bodies buried in the ground so only their faces were visible. Yet, each of them had a glowing smile. There was a wall of fire which moved from the background to the foreground, and covered each of the faces, yet they were not consumed or burned. This scene repeated itself over and over, with the fire moving over the smiling faces.

Then i saw an outline of America, the people were in the same situation, buried in the ground so only their heads were visible. But in this scene, only the back of the heads were visible and their faces seemed to be buried in the frozen ground. In place of the wall of fire, there was a glacier of ice that moved across the land. This too repeated itself over and over.

As i looked at each scene i realized that the Chinese were on fire, yet the Americans were frozen. Then something else happened. The Chinese attempted to share their fire with the Americans. Yet, each time they brought the flame, the ice would melt and the resulting water would put out the fire.

My heart was grieved and i asked the Lord to show me if there was any hope for America. He did, this is what i saw …

As believers, we have the fire available to each of us, but for most, it has gone out. Therefore, we are lying in the cold ice of a dead religion. Our only hope is to pray for an ignition of His fire within our hearts. On the other hand, there are those who have a flame but they have allowed it to be kept inside; when in reality we have all been called to share His light. When He ignites our hearts, then we must take the flame from inside and light the candles which we have been given. As this happens, the warmth of the flames will melt the ice around us.

i clearly understood that this fire was not something that could come from another nation. It must be lit in each of us as we recognize our own frozen state of spiritual health.

Let us pray that we will recognize the coldness of our hearts, that we will earnestly desire a new fire to be lit, and then have the boldness to light our candles and share the flame with others.
