Children

I have seen the epitome of truth and innocence through the eyes of a child
Trusting and sweet for no reason at all
What a gift to see the souls about playing, if only for the purpose of playing
they know not debt or judgment or sarcasm
Loving everyone they know
not caring if the hair is brushed or if the hands are clean
But not able to go to sleep without mommy or daddy there to say good night
Never do they purposely break anything or spill anything
maybe that is what makes them so innocent and true
Dependant on everyone but themselves
They aren’t aware
It should be that way
The eyes of a child are pure and they seem to have a light or a glimmer
It’s as if God gives them this perfect thought process only to be educated through growth
I wish we could see through the eyes of a child every now and then
So we can recall what life is all about
