Sometimes I'll cry, in fact I might scream, and not always behave in the way you did dream
Sometimes I'll sleep, other times not, and wake straight away when put back in my cot
Sometimes I'll eat, and I'll eat and I'll eat, and maybe continue if you attempt to retreat
Sometimes I'll wait until clean, bathed and changed, and then fill my nappy, it can be arranged
Sometimes my wind may cause me to moan, I'll wriggle and squirm, I won't leave you alone
Sometimes my clean clothes, yours too I might add, will be covered in sick, I know, it's quite bad
But sometimes I'll smile when I look at your face, and I'll see a lady that's full of God's grace
Sometimes I will be completely content, and that's when I know that for me you were sent
Without you I just would not even survive, you clothe me and feed me, you keep me alive
But it's everything else that sets you apart, you're my mummy, I thank you, and give you my heart
