Isaiah 55:11, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The bible declares that God’s word can not return back to him void but it must accomplish that which it was sent to accomplish. When God declares his word can not return void, Webster’s dictionary defines void as: containing nothing, idle, leisure, not occupied, vacant, empty space, emptiness, the quality or state of being without something.
When we pray we must call out the scriptures of God because contained in the scriptures of God are the promises of God and God himself said that his word cannot return unto him void. In other words the first person to send out the word was God, his words are returning back to him when we call the scriptures out of our mouths back to God—and those scriptures can not return back to him empty-but they must accomplish what it was sent to accomplish.
The bible goes on to say in John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and Word was God, John 1:14 says and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory. So in Isaiah 55:11 God is telling us that his Word (His son, the Lord Jesus Christ) can not return unto him void, but the Lord Jesus Christ must accomplish that which he was sent to accomplish! Hallelujah Lord Jesus! Because we know as believers in the body of Christ the Lord Jesus has already accomplished that which He was sent to accomplish and the Lord Jesus is the Word, and God said His Word can not return void, so when we send the Word out of our mouths it must accomplish what it was sent to do! Glory to God.
So if you believe the word of God then you believe Genesis 1: 1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light and there was light.
The bible declares God said let there be light and there was light. In the beginning God called out his word but before he called out his word, scripture declares that earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep—but when he called out his word—there was light. Just like us, we can be down, defeated, in misery forgetting who we are and whose we are then we open our mouths and declare the word of God. We say what God says we are, whereas at first we were dark, now because we have spoken the Word of God over our lives—now what was once dark—becomes light.
My beautiful brothers and sisters begin to declare and decree the Word of God over your life—right now. Are you under an attack—God’s word says no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Are you afraid? God’s word says, (Psalms 3) I will not be afraid of ten thousand people who have set themselves against me for thou oh Lord are a shield for me, you are my glory and lifter of my head. Is your faith being tried? (James 1:2-3) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations, knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. Do you feel like you’re being put through the fire? (Hebrews 12: 7-8) If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastenth not? Are you waiting for a man to give you a decision on something? I Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Are you going through trial, hurt, pain? II Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; (18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
To God be the Glory for the things HE has done. Blessings in abundance to you.
