Words about The Word – PRAYER When we pray we “connect” with God; we become aware of His presence within us. Prayer is a mark of our confidence in His promises. With faith we make known our need for and our belief in this connection with God, trusting that answers will be forthcoming in accordance with His perfect will. Dedicating just a few moments of the day exclusively to our Lord by means of vocal or mental conversation gives Him the glory he deserves and gives us the strength needed for our Christian life. Jesus said to pray always. Communication with God in prayer is one of the keys to our salvation by helping us to persevere in faith, giving us the strength and grace to avoid falling into sin. Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions. Do you feel connected to God? If not, have you truly given it a fair shot….His door opens to all who seek Him
