Saul cheered as the crowd stoned Stephen, a Disciple to death
Saul hated The Church, he wanted to put them All to death
Against The Disciples of Christ, Saul yelled threats and murder
Let’s imprison Them or put Them to death, was Saul’s answer

With letters from The High Priest, he was off to Damascus
To arrest anyone of The Way, Believers like Us
On Saul’s way, a sudden Light, shone around him, from Heaven
Saul fell to the ground, and heard a Voice, coming from Heaven

Then The Voice asked, “Saul, Saul, Why are YOU Persecuting Me”
Saul was shaken, he said, “Who are YOU Lord”, more like a plea
The Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom YOU are Persecuting”
“Lord what do YOU want me to do”, Saul replied, while trembling

The Lord said, “Arise, go to the city, there I’ll tell YOU”
The men with him, heard The Voice, but saw no one, had no clue
When Saul rose, and opened his eyes, he only saw darkness
In Damascus, for three days, no food or drink, still darkness

In a Vision, The Lord, told Ananias, “Rise and go”
Return sight to Saul of Tarsus, because I tell YOU so
“For he is a Chosen Vessel of Mine to bear My Name”
“I’ll show him how many things he must suffer for My Name”

Ananias went, entered the house, laid his hands on Saul
The Lord, who appeared to YOU, on the road, do YOU recall
Sent me, to return your sight, receive The Holy Spirit
Saul’s sight was returned, he was Baptized, which cleansed his Spirit

Saul began Preaching that The Son of God, was Jesus Christ
He told the people, he had seen The Risen Jesus Christ
He tells, how The Lord appeared, they had a conversation
Jesus told him, that Saul’s attack upon The Church was done

Saul Preached Boldly, at Damascus, in The Name of Jesus
Saul declared, to The Disciples, that he had seen Jesus
While with Them, in Jerusalem, he Preached The Word of God
Preached The Christ in The Synagogues, He is The Son of God

Saul also called Paul, who was filled with The Holy Spirit
Paul really changed his Life, but would pay a great price for it
Teaching by The Lord’s Hand, Paul taught, The Straight Ways of Jesus
A Disciple, True Believer, but just a man, like Us
