What was the second greatest commandment given? "Love one another as I have loved you." I think the Lord knew this would be a difficult command for mankind to follow, and that is why he placed it directly behind, love the the Lord your God with all your heart.

As you take a look at the family of God, do you see unity? I do not think that in many churches there is a genuine love one for another.

Try telling ten people in your congregation that you are going through a financial difficulty and see how many of your brothers and sisters in Christ reach out and give you a helping hand.

When I first read the Biblical account of how the Christians in the book of Acts, really cared about one another, to the point that they shared what they had, it made me go "Wow, Lord, that was love."

Let me go one step further, say to ten brothers or sisters in the Lord, "God told me last night that he is going to use me to reach the nation?" You'll probably get one or two who are genuinely excited about what God is about to do.

It has broken my heart many a times, when I shared with a brother or a sister in Christ the things of God, the feeling I get, and believe me it's not one of "Praise God, I am so excited for you, may God bless you."

I can remember early in my walk, a sister in the Lord was used mightly by God, what that did for me was, get me excited. I said, 'God if you can use her so in such an awesome way, I know you can use me. I was excited about the things God was doing in her life, and I wanted some of what she had. It encouraged my heart.

As Christians, we need to ask God how can I link my hand to my brother's hand for your kingdom?
How can I love those unconditionally that you have placed me to fellowship with. Help me to reach out and touch those around me for your kingdom.

(Praise God for those of you, who are linking your hands with your brothers and sisters in Christ)
