A PITIFUL CONDITION:
=========================
In a vision not so long ago, the Lord showed me a ‘Teapot’ of silver. It was tarnished quite severely in many places. It looked as if it had been out in the weather (storms of life, troubled winds, rains of afflictions), for a long time. As I looked at this ‘Teapot,’ I could see a few faint spots of silver here and there but its brilliance was now dulled (disappointment, discouragement, pain, hopelessness) due to the weathering.

I began to weep as I looked at this pitiful Teapot, my heart heavy with prayer. I knew that I was being shown the condition of so many of God’s people today who are in church every Sunday morning thinking they’re all right. Many ARE all right and they’re ready for Jesus to come again but many people are not ready for Jesus to come.

THE WORKS:
=================
Then I saw a Hand appear and in it was what looked like a scouring pad. I knew instantly that the hand was the Lord‘s. I watched closely as He began to scrub the tarnish on this ‘Teapot.’ I noticed that some places seemed to take a little extra scrubbing (stubbornness, self-will) but even so, with love and patience, the Lord continued with His work.

In a few moments, sudsing began taking place. The sudsing brought forth so much scum until at one point, I couldn’t see the surface of the ‘Teapot’ at all (filth of the spirit and soul). I saw the Hand disappear after it had finished the scrubbing process on the ‘Teapot.’

YOUR GLORY HAS COME:
===========================
Directly, I saw water begin flowing down over the ‘Teapot’ and the suds and scum were being washed away (by the washing of the water by the Word, Eph.5:27). As the flow of water continued, I began to see the ‘Teapot’ in what was it’s original state when it had been made. Its shine was brilliant now and the tarnish was gone (If any man be in Christ Jesus, old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new, 2 Cor,5:17).

There it was, looking freshly scrubbed, Regal and clearly a vessel of honor fit now for good use. Then, I saw the Lord’s hand again with what looked like a soft white buffing cloth. The ‘Teapot’ was now being polished, or you could say, buffed. And as it was, this little ‘Teapot’ began to shine even brighter. So bright in fact, you could see reflections in it (Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you”).

THE TEAPOT:
=================
The little ‘Teapot’ represents human vessels that have been fashioned and formed by the Hands of the Master Potter, God Himself. In our original state of creation, we were perfectly created in God’s image and made in His likeness (Gen.1:26). Sin caused imperfections in all of mankind but through the blood of Jesus and His finished work on the cross, people can receive restoration to become that vessel of honor God created them to be.

God want’s to restore, and is restoring His people today to ‘be’ the vessels of honor He created all us to be, fit for the Master’s use. God, through His Holy Spirit is making us vessels of honor to carry His glory in these last days. And in order for His glory---His anointing to be IN us and ON us in increase, it requires us to go through cleansing and being refined as silver and gold. If course, we know that Satan is anti-Christ. He’s anti-Anointing because it destroys his yokes and removes his burdens off of God’s people (Isaiah 10:27). Praise God!

Satan is busy and working over-time these days trying to prevent God’s people from coming to this place of being purified and refined. He knows that God’s glory ON us is what will draw people to us so we can point them TO Jesus and AWAY from him and his evil intents of stealing, killing and destroying (John 10:10). Hallelujah! Let us all make every effort to lead people to Jesus so they can receive His touch of salvation, healing and deliverance. Even if we have to snatch some out of the fire.

TARNISH:
=================
This represents the areas of sin still clinging to the life of the Believer. “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8). Extra Scrubbing: This indicates strongholds, stubbornness and resistance to the hand of the Holy Spirit‘s purification in our lives. It represents not wanting to submit our will to yield to the work of the Holy Spirit in bringing us to righteousness, purity and holiness.

The tarnish is there in the first place because of rebelliously going our own way apart from God to do things by our own reasoning (to be our own god). (there is a way that seems right unto a man; but the end thereof is death). The end result of any sin is a mess that we can’t clean up by ourselves.

The scrubbing process by the Holy Spirit can seem to be a little abrasive. It can in fact, be very painful. And even though we know we can’t get out of the mess by ourselves, still we resist the hand of God from doing whats necessary to cause us to be vessels of honor. Frankly, its because we don’t want to completely turn loose of those things (old traditions, misbeliefs about God, self and others, offenses that brought pain to our emotions, etc.) that we’ve been comfortable with holding on to for so long.

We try to hold out and bargain with God. We try to compromise. Meaning, we want the glory but we don’t want to give up the things that have been “pet’s” for so long. But God does not compromise with any of His children for ANY reason. Therefore, even though we’ll experience some painful in the process as we learn to yield under the tender and loving hand of the Master, oh what glory awaits you when the process is completed. The glory of the presence of the Lord in a deeper measure is well worth any pain or discomfort we have to go through.

SUDSING:
================
I sensed the Holy Spirit say that this indicated the Word of God and the Scripture came to mind, “If you will continue in My Word, then are you My disciples indeed: You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32). This comes through both the Logos Word and by the Rhema Word, revealed by the Holy Spirit (Romans 10:17). Continue in His Word, walk daily in fellowship with Jesus, holding tightly to His promises until they take hold of you as a habit. Not all habits are good, some are very harmful to you spirit, soul and body. But this is one habit that is good.

Then, as you learn to continue in His Word, it should come as easily as breathing. This gives the Holy Spirit time to work His Word in your spirit, whereby you’re given revelation of the truth. And when you “see” the truth the revealed will of God brings through His Word, and as you know the truth, this truth will make you free. Amen! As free as Jesus is.

We have to accept the truth, giving no excuses as we’re shown areas of sin still in our lives that we may or may not be aware of. But once its revealed to us, we’re to confess it to God as sin then repent (turning, having a change of mind) of it from a sincere heart and receive His forgiveness (1 John 1:9). This has to come forth before real break-through can take place. The washing of the word of God cleanses and purifies us, spirit, soul and body (Eph.5:27). John 15:3, “Now are you cleansed through the Word which I have spoken unto you.”

SCUM:
=============
Heb.4:12, “For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." As the truth is revealed from God’s Word by the Holy Spirit, He begins working with the Word to transform us more into the image of Christ.

It serves to bring things foaming to the surface from the depths of our hearts that have been to the ‘Teapot’ (our lives) like a second skin. Jeremiah 17:9-10 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10-I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give to every man according to the fruit of his doings.” Only God knows our heart. Therefore, we’re not always aware of the hidden things in our souls until the Holy Spirit, by the Word, shows us what’s really in our hearts.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God”(Matt.5:8). And “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that has clean hands and a pure heart;”(Psalm 24:3-4). We have to look at the scum (sin of pride, unforgiveness, bitterness, idolatry, apostasy, strife, envy, hatred, etc.) acknowledge it as our’s and take responsibility for it. We then deal with it through the Word, His grace and repentance. Then, by faith in a God who is able to keep that which we commit unto Him against that day, We trust that He will enable us to refuse those things from taking root in our lives anymore.

THE FLOW OF WATER:
=======================
Again, I’m reminded of the Scripture in Eph.5:27 when I saw this--“By the washing of the water of the Word.” But ‘water’ is also representative of the Holy Spirit. John 7:38-39 says, “For out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke of the Spirit, which they that believe should receive.” We’re told to “Be not drunk with wine but to be filled with the Spirit.” This is a daily fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. In the book of Acts, the Apostles were filled with the Spirit more than once. And so are we to be filled of the Spirit on a daily basis.

Receiving the infilling of the Spirit doesn’t come apart from God’s Word but rather in accordance with the Word in the name of Jesus. Therefore we must allow God’s Word to pour INTO us and not over us where it runs off, never penetrating the heart. God wants us to absorb His Word into our spirit until it’s a living part of us and gives us spiritual strength, which is faith. We must allow the Word by the Holy Spirit to do its cleansing work in us and bring us into righteousness, purity and holiness.

Also, this water flow brought to mind the constant flow of the blood of Jesus where we can be cleansed when we fail to hit the mark (1 John 1:9). The flow of the blood of Jesus is something that should be a constant in our lives. We must apply the blood of Jesus to our lives daily and activate its power and victory in our lives and over our families, etc.

POLISHING:
===================
This represents to me the anointing, which means, to ‘smear in, to rub in, to pour all over.’ But there's a process to go through before we get here to this particular point of receiving an anointing for service. We already have the Believer’s anointing (1 John 2:27). But the anointing for service is what Acts 1:8 is talking about, “But you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...”

When the polishing/buffing took place, I saw the ‘Teapot’ begin to gleam so brilliantly bright. We are to be so brilliantly bright with the glory that we reflect the very image of the One who brought us to this place of honor. We’re to be a reflection of Jesus in all the earth. The Holy Spirit is set and He is busy now making those who are yielding, fit for the Master‘s use.

Part of His work in the body of Christ in this hour is to restore the God-image in us. This is what the ‘Teapot’ was reflecting, the God-image of God. Jesus is coming back for a bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish and the bride is now being purified and made holy by the refining hand of the Holy Spirit. Being made ready for the soon coming of the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.

SURRENDER:
=====================
One thing that stood out to me as I watched the vision was the fact that the ‘Teapot’ stood still. In Psalm 46:10, we’re told, “Be still and know that I am God.” The teapot was totally submissive to the Hand that worked so painstakingly and lovingly over it to bring it to that place of being a vessel of honor. I believe that, like the ’Teapot,’ God is asking us, his people, for total surrender to Him in this day, spirit, soul and body. I’ve said this before but I can never say it too often, God wants our whole hearts, not pieces of it.

While many in the body of Christ are heeding the voice of the Spirit in this hour and they’re yielding themselves a “living sacrifice” (Romans 12:1) to the Lord Jesus Christ, there are just as many who are being resistant. To be ready for the Lord’s soon return, we must yield to the Holy Spirit’s ‘Baptism of Fire’ now. Jesus told us that it was coming.

John said, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire” (Matt.3:11). That time is here now. So, when we hear the voice of the Lord, let us not harden our hearts in stubborn resistance to Him. But let us surrender to the loving hand of the Spirit and be made pure and holy and more in the image of Christ.

A MESS:
===============
I don’t know of any Believe who hasn’t been or isn’t even now at this stage of being a mess. I think it would be safe to say that the biggest majority of God’s people are at the stage where the Lord’s ‘scrubbing’ is taking place in your life. By the world’s view (society), some of you may think you’re a total mess that there is just no hope for you. That you’re a total washout and failure. That you have no worth, and you’re just a piece of human trash to be kicked aside. God see’s the correct picture of you and He says different about you. First of all, He says, the devil is a liar and there’s no truth in him, so don’t listen to him (John 8:44).

Others close to you may see some of the ‘scum’ that’s coming to the surface and not allow you the grace to go through this uncomfortable time. They may not have ‘eyes’ to see that God is doing a supernatural work in you by His Spirit. They may not see the potential God has put in you. All they can see is the ‘mess.’ But the Lord doesn’t want you to go by what others say, think or do. He doesn’t want you to loose hope and become weary. He wants you to focus on the promises of His Word to you and know with assurity that He is your hope.

He wants you to trust that He’s never left anything unfinished that he started. He says, He will complete that which He began in you. He will bring you to that place of being filled with His glory. If you’re willing, He will bring you to that place of being a vessel of honor for His Kingdom purposes. The cost? The complete surrender of your will to conform to His will. Yes, there is a cost for being a carrier of God’s glory to this degree. Jesus said, “Count the cost.” The end result is joy unspeakable and full of glory.

THE HAND:
==================
The hand that scrubs us, washes and polishes us is also the Hand that heals and brings restoration to those areas in our lives that looks like a hopeless mess. Break-through, God says, for you IS coming but it will require your surrender to His Hand. It will require you, as a member of the body of Christ, to put yourself totally in the Hand of God in this hour.

What God desires to do in our lives, He requires our surrendered obedience. He has good plans for you, for all of His children (Jer.29:11). Good plans that will not only be a blessing and benefit to us each individually but will bless and help countless other people in need of a touch from Jesus. People from all walks of life that He sends you to, or brings across your path. The reward of His glory that He desires to fill you with to overflowing is so great, you can hardly imagine. You just have to accept it by faith.

SING PRAISES TO THE LORD:
================================
We all know that a ‘Teapot’ is known to sing. We also know that usually when it sings, it’s because the heat has been turned up under it. Thus, we go through the “Refiner’s fire” (Malachi 3). But the ‘Teapot’ has one of two choices. It can sing songs of murmuring and complaining about the uncomfortable heat and refuse to sing praise. Or it can choose to sing out praises because it knows it’s going to shine brightly with the glory of God once the heat is turned down.

Therefore, let us say as Habakkuk said, “We will yet praise the Lord,” as we choose to remain in place, allowing ourselves to be made holy, as God is holy. While at the same time, keeping an attitude of joy as we’re made into a glorious vessel of honor. A vessel of honor that is now fit for the Master’s use in these last days. Doing our part in establishing God’s Kingdom purposes in the earth.

Going under the mandate of Jesus as He gave the Great Commission, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel, making disciples of every nation, healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, etc.” Let us now prepare to go to the fields that are white, to reap the harvest of souls. Bringing them out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of Light (God‘s dear Son, Jesus, Col.1:11-13), by the Word of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God! Sing out the praises of our great God and let the earth be filled with His glory!
