**PRAY FOR THE NATION(1)**
'Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:they shall prosper that love thee.'

We have arrived at a time in history when we must all with one accord lift up our voice in prayer for our nation,we must table the matters that affect our people with earnestness and eagerness before God.The deaths of persons mostly the youth of our nation should be of utmost concern.The important issues should not be slaughtered on the altar of trivial issues.
In today's scripture,it says Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.It did not say struggle,fight, or destroy for peace to reign it says Pray.Our Lord Jesus is the Prince of Peace,He knows when and where exactly to speak peace into.Many times we struggle and seek for the wrong things and at the end more problems are created.Pray for the Peace of Nigeria.
Jerusalem is the capital of Israel,and David wrote of Praying for its peace.Being the capital its the centre-point of the nation,the seat of Power and Authority.The place where the highest office is located. Hence if the centre or the head is in proper shape the other parts would also be well.So, we are persuaded to pray for the peace of Nigeria and its leaders at the helm of Affairs.
ACTION POINT:Find one or two other persons with you where you are and say the Prayer below together in the unity of Faith...

PRAYER.
1.Lord, grant our Nation Nigeria Peace in every area...
2.Lord,help our leaders realise the weight of their decisions and responsibilities that they might lead properly. In Jesus Name.
