There is a saying that goes, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going." That applies to today's moral and spiritual culture. In the midst of all of the apostasy, deception, false teaching, moral decline, the attempt to destroy truth, and the increasing persecution of Christians, we need a lot of spiritually tough Christians who will not shrink back and deny their faith.
There are two kinds of people who will come from this, those who shy away and back down, and those who continue to take a bold stand for the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He who endures to the end will be saved. Which group will you be in?
There are consequences of both backing down and taking a stand. This is what Matthew 10:32-33 has to say. "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." Hebrews 10:37-39 states it another way. "For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him."
The test of those who are true Christians is upon us! There is the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matthew 13:24-30. The wheat represents true believers. The tares represent the false teachings and phony "religious" professing Christians that have sprouted up all over the spiritual garden of true Christianity. The time has come when God is going to separate the wheat from the tares. Which group will you be in?
Hal Lindsey, on his program aired on January 12, 2014, made the point , in his review of prophetic events of 2013, that there were 2 very significant things. One was the rapid intensity of the anti-Israel alliance being formed by Russian president, Putin, who happened to just recently be voted the most powerful person on the planet. The other significant development was the huge swing toward homosexuality and gay marriage. It is very interesting that both Matthew 24:37-38 and Luke 17:26-29 mention marriage as a key issue in the days before God's judgment, just as in the days of Noah before the flood. Combine all of this with the downward spiral of moral and spiritual collapse presented in Romans 1, which ends up talking about homosexuality.
There is something big emerging on the prophetic horizon! Again, I ask the question. Which group will you be in, the wheat or the tares? Are you going to shy away or boldly keep moving to proclaim the Gospel message?

On the surface, "he who endures to the end" sounds like a works oriented issue. Until you have epiphany that ONLY a Christian will endure to the end. No one else will desire to or be able to. The TEST only shows what the true condition of the person is. "Real gold fears no fire".....
