Journey

This journey I’m walking is so weary
My heart is heavy and my eyes are teary
Where is that promise given so long ago?
Is it time yet? My heart yearns to know

Strengthen the feeble hands
The hands that hang low
For My child this is the time you have yearned so
All things by My Spirit are coming to order
Don’t give up now because your promised land
Is just over the border

In order for you to get there you have to stretch your faith
You can’t see the path or discern the way
Unless you listen with your spirit and quiet your soul today
My way is NOT always easy nor looks like the best for you
BUT if you will only set your foot in the direction
I Myself will pull you through

But Father what things have you planned for me
That would cause me to bear such misery
I have been stripped of all things and only
Have one more thing

My child I am doing a work in you
Something grand
So I say again
It’s time to lift those feeble hands
My arms will uphold you and My Spirit will strengthen you
I am coming My child to pull you safely through

Oh Father, I have been here before!
The scenery hasn’t changed
And now I am supposed to look at it though
It were new and strange?
Each time before I landed here
I could not continue on
So many times, Father
This path has come and gone

Child I exhort you now
Look up
There are many differences this time
If you will only see
Your eyes and ears won’t tell you the truth
You must be still and listen to Me

Close your eyes and take a step
Though there seems no way
I myself will establish a path
If you will hearken to what I have to say
The door is there
By My Spirit I opened it
That is why My child
NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO QUIT

Surely with each step you take
Though there be no way
Your feet will hit solid ground
And My Spirit will surely abound
Your path will appear with each sure foot step
As you draw near
And I will show the truth
By My Spirit
The way is opened for you

OH FATHER NOT AGAIN!
PLEASE DON’T TAKE ME SOMEWHERE I CAN’T WIN
I’M TIRED OF THE SAME THING THROUGH AND THROUGH
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IT IS YOU PLAN TO DO!

Shh, eye has not seen nor ear heard
The good things that are in store
For those who love me and are called
According to my purpose.
