God’s love

Inside of me the sadness is stilled
And the spirits of fear and doubt are killed
By the love He has for me.
Hallelujah!
Rejoice my heart and let it be known
From the times before the world was yet grown
He held me before His countenance
As He created for me a face
He knows the hairs on my head
And the many paths I must tread
He held me in His hands before
My mother knew what was in store
Yes He molded me in my mother’s womb
And instilled in me the promise of the empty tomb
Knowing one day I would come to see the light
That His Son is Jesus Christ
