It’s lonely in here, I feel trapped inside

I live in fear, nowhere to hide

Something’s not right, I don’t know why

As dark as night, I start to cry

I want to run, but where to go

Life is no fun, no light to show

And then I turn, catch a glimpse of You

I feel the warmth; the glow shines through

You comfort me, You hold me near

You love me so, You erase the fear

You are the light, You are the sun

You make it right, You are the one

I can breathe again, and see the light

It comes from within, now the future is bright

I feel so at peace now, I break into song

You did this, but how? You forgave me my wrong.

You have abundant grace, You love me still

Oh to see Your face, Oh to give up my will

I now belong to You; I no longer roam

And what did You do? You welcomed me home.
