Most of us have been blessed in a special way

To have a father that we love each and every day

Someone special who is there when we are in need

Who would do most anything to show his love indeed



Others grow up wondering why this person some call “dad”

Is not someone that in their life they have ever had

Why did they not benefit from his wisdom and his smile

Or why was he only in their life for a little while



Many have to grow with this question on their mind

They seek and search in desperation, but they never find

For these people, I have something that I must say to you

You may not have a father here, but up above you do



Your Heavenly Father loves you like no other can

For HE is the best example there is of the perfect man

He can fill the missing father’s space like none can do

And if you have an earthly father, well now count your fathers two
