'Eternity's Tree'

'The Cross is a Living Tree that dwells in me,
it has always been, long before Calvary
ne'er dead wood to carry,
in hopes of sin's future defeat I tarry

Tis for a dead man already, It is fit and made
An Intrinsic Cross placed in me by the price He paid
Of Eternity's Cross It has it's roots
By way of the stump of Adam, It grows its shoots

The Tree of Christ like a lampstand of Gold
The earth is filled with glory of the Son who is the mold
in whom all things were made through and for
His Expression shining through one's life that is poured

The Power of His endless Life radiates
Through His sons who bear His Inherent Trait
The same Cross that dwelt in Eternity Past
Now lives in them who hold fast

Ne'er loving one's own life and remaining alone,
but like the seed that dies, becoming One
An Expression of the Son that fills the earth
Where all sorrow flees, replaced by eternal mirth

The Intrinsic Cross is the Stand of Gold,
The City of God, whose seekers were the men of old
Now we have such a Reality that forever glows
A Light that devours its darkest foes

Its form and presence by Revelation we see
His Eternal Delight in revealing His Son in me'
