Mamas Prayer


I heard my Mother pray...Dear Lord just take me home,
I've ran this race far enough and I'm tired to the bone.
I've taught my children well, my husband you'll take care
Just free me of this worldly pain, to Heaven take me there.
I miss my Mom and Daddy, my brothers and sisters too
I lift my arms toward You Lord and surrender old for new.
Give peace and comfort to my loved ones here on earth
Fill them up with reassurance that eternal life has worth.
Give them awesome memories that we shared throughout the years
And give them joy for love we knew and wipe away their tears.
Thank you Lord, thank you Lord for listening this day
With faith and expectation is the purpose that I pray.
