I hear you want proof that God is real…. OK, I can do that!
God created this earth, otherwise, the world would not exist. Here it is turning at perfect timing in space, just hanging there with nothing supporting it. The grass, the trees, the fields that bare food and grain, the sky that holds the sun to give us day and warmth and the moon to give night its glow, the birds that sing, the herds that roam and give meat, fish that swim in nourished waters, and the beauty of flowers in bloom giving the hint of heaven’s fragrance. There is also the amazing weather conditions, the rains to give drink to all the living things, and the wind to dry the earth when wet. He created mankind, in His own likeness. He gave mankind the organs to keep the body functioning-they all work together to make our perfect living vessel. He gave woman organs to create new life and continue the legacy of God’s creation in mankind. And He gave us minds, smart enough to live day by day, and some people God even gave an extra boost of intelligence to be doctors, lawyers, scientist, inventors, and leaders. Yes, this all came by the Hand of God.
Now for you that believes it was a great big BANG! that made this world, think again. This theory claims it was molecules that came together and exploded, or one molecule exploded, whichever theory you choose; well, okay, if that’s so, where did the molecules come from? Hmmmmmm, things don’t “just exist”, they are “created”. That molecule, or molecules, you speak of that exploded, where did they come from? They came from God. God created the molecule and anything smaller and anything larger, He created it all. It didn’t just appear out of thin air, it was made by God to create living things, be it the earth and its land and all upon it or be it humans.
I know there are people that will say they don’t believe in God, but I have one question for them. When you are worried about something do you ever quietly say in your mind “please help me” or “please be with them and help them” or “please let this all be okay”, or how about this one “Oh my God!”, how many of you have said that phrase? Who are you talking to when you say it? Who are you talking about? Are you telling yourself to help the situation? Or could it be that even though you say you don’t believe in God, there is a tiny part of you that does? Could it be that a little part of you is turning to the Almighty God for help in your time of need or struggle?
Or how about this, how many of you that don’t believe in God have used His name in vain, used it as a curse for something? If you don’t believe in God, then why would you give Him the time of day by even using His name? If God isn’t real, then why would you ask God to “damn” something you’re upset about or why would you call out “Jesus Christ”? What purpose is it if you just don’t believe in Him?
Or maybe you do believe in God, but you choose to not follow Him. Well okay, that’s perfectly fine, it is your choice and I am not here to force Him on anyone. But why do you use the name of God or Jesus Christ in your vocabulary if you don’t want them in your life? If you get upset about followers of God speaking to you about Jesus Christ and about God, then why do you continue to speak their names, even if its to use the names in a cursing way? Please don’t get me wrong, I am not trying to be trite or condescending, I just don’t understand. If I don’t like liver, I don’t talk about it and I definitely don’t eat it, because it makes me sick to even think about it. Its the same matter of speaking when you call out the names of God or Jesus Christ but you don’t want anything to do with Them. Why speak of someone or something that you don’t want in your life. Perhaps, there is a reason. Perhaps, a tiny part of you tucked away deep inside does wish to have God in your life. Otherwise, you wouldn’t speak of or go around someone that you don’t want, right?
I have heard people that want nothing to do with God ask why His servants keep bothering them about turning to God. Well, maybe its because you keep calling to God by saying His name over and over, so He sends one of His own to assist you. Just more proof that God loves us all and is always listening, and is ALWAYS waiting to help us. And He never wants to pass up the chance that someone calling His name may not just be cursing, but instead is a true cry to Him for help.
God loves everyone, no matter who we are, what we’ve done, where we are, His love is undying and unconditional. He will turn no one away when He is called upon. He won’t even hold it against those that don’t believe or follow Him. He understands that some of us need to learn the world without His help, but He will also be right there ready to help you when you are ready to make that change. He never forces us, He leaves it up to each of us to choose Him or to choose the world. So if God gives us the choice to love Him or not, how can anyone say that He is unfair and unloving? He let’s us go free at our choosing, and His hope is that we return to Him because it is then that He knows we belong with Him. “If you set it free and it returns, it was meant to be”, God feels the same about us. Now does that sound so bad? What’s the worse that can happen if you choose God? You will be loved by God unconditionally…… that’s the worst that can happen.
God isn’t out to be a tyrant or make us into puppets, He is out to give us love and peace and to offer us a way to live forever. What I mean by “live forever” is that if a person chooses to live for God and let God help with life’s tough struggles, they choose to allow Jesus to live inside their heart. When Jesus is accepted into your heart, God forgives you of all your past sins and shortcomings. He wipes your life clean and its as if you start over fresh and clean, no sins and no blemishes. Yes, there are conditions we must live by when we live only for God, but He helps us with that. As humans, we will slip and fail, we will sin. But with God’s help, we repent, which means we will allow God to help us steer away from that particular sin and strive to not fall to it again. He forgives even when we slip, because He loves us unconditionally. But the best part of this is, that when we give our lives over to God and we live for Him and let Him guide us through this life, we have a promise of living forever. When this body passes away, our soul will not die and we will be taken to God’s heavenly Home, to His Kingdom, and we will live there with love and peace and never have sorrow or struggles again. Now come on, does that sound like a bad thing? It’s okay, you can agree with me. It’s up to you if you want the spot in God’s Home that He has reserved just for you. Will you grab that deed for your piece of land in Heaven, or will you let it foreclose?
So, there you go, I have proven God is real. How you ask? Because even to those of you that don’t believe in Him, you still seem to think about Him and you say His Name in your everyday speech, and you don’t even realize your doing it. Even though your mind is telling you God isn’t real, your heart, your soul is saying otherwise. God, He is real, and you have proven it to yourself……..
**Here are a few Bible passages to explain the love God has for us:
“For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” -ISAIAH 41:13
“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the *propitiation for our sins.” -I JOHN 4:10
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” -JOHN 3:16
