This is my own personal birthday poem which I am sharing with my readers.

I just had my birthday; I'm seventy-three years old. Many things have happened, to see my life unfold.

It hasn't all been easy, and who said that it would be? But one thing that's for certain is that God's been good to me.

I've made poor decisions and many bad mistakes, but one thing I have learned is be yourself and not a fake.

So many times life has been hard and difficult to face, but God has brought me through it all with His amazing grace.

Through all my years, I have come to really, truly know, so many of the things I needed, they all helped me grow.

Through tough times and days of ease, in pleasure and in pain, there has always been a way to experience gain.

It could be so easy to rest and to retire, but God has plans to help me soar, soar still even higher.

Many things have happened, and so much has been done, but best of all is knowing Jesus, God's eternal Son.

I know that God still loves me, and cares for all my needs. It is for those who do not know Him that His big heart bleeds.

For the years that I have left, I will speak and write, that others come to know God's glory and His awesome might,

that this generation, might come to know God's grace. Then they will turn from their own ways and seek God's loving face.

I hope and pray my life will be, very, very long, but more than that, this is my prayer: I must finish strong!

When the years of life are gone and all the things have past, it's only what I've done for God, that will truly last.

If I live to be a hundred; it's okay to boast, but how l really lived those years, is what matters most.
