What manner of Love is this

That makes my soul leap for joy?

It makes me laugh when I feel like crying

And instead of pouting, it makes me rejoice!



What manner of Love is this that doesn’t just numb

But completely removes all of the hurt and pain?

When it’s cloudy and dark and I can’t see my way,

It leads me through the pouring rain.



What manner of Love is this that causes me to crucify my fleshly desires

So that I can be like someone I’ve never seen, but only felt?



What manner of Love is this that with just the mention of a name

My heart begins to melt?



What manner of love is this that makes me do right

When I want to do wrong?

When I am weak this manner of Love never forsakes me,

But instead keeps me strong.



It’s a Divine Love sent from above

To restore me to eternal life.

He loved me so much that He died for me

And He is coming back to make me His wife.



I can’t explain it

And I can hardly contain it.

This love is very, very, real.

Jesus Christ is the love of my life

And every void I had, He has filled.



Jehovah Jireh,

My Provider,

You’re all I need and more.

You’re the great I AM.

And I love You so much.

Every day I long for Your gentle touch.

You’re my everything, oh Heavenly King!



What manner of Love is this?

It’s the kind of Love

That was sent from above, to me, by God.

And it’s the GREATEST Love of all.
