I am a woman. I have a choice
To be single or married
Wilful or wise
Lazy or diligent.
It is my choice.

I am a woman. I have the power
To care or to curse
To kill or give birth
To heal or to maim
That power is mine.

I am a woman. I have the choice.
To be one man's wife
To protect new life,
Or be lover of many
And loved by none.

I am a woman. It is in my power
To have a house or a home
To be faithful or roam
To receive and save
Or to grab and waste.

I am a woman and my choices are many
Who will help me to choose
And not to lose?

Although I’m a woman, I am also a child
I shall turn to the FATHER
Who is kind and wise,
Who made me a woman
And that was HIS choice.
