God hears prayer, He waits to hear from us and is ready with our deliverance which He shall impart to us when we pray.
Jesus brought before us the very picture we face in our day to day life.
"And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”" Luke 18:4-5 (NKJV)
The angry judge...we might have the angry teacher, the angry boss, the angry clerk at the counter and so many arrogant and hard people with whom we deal with, we continue to beat against them and fight with them until our work is done and this might require much our time and resources, however we forget to pray about our issues, our problems are not brought at first to the Lord before we take it head on.
why we do not pray? would it not have been better if we would have prayed, the Lord would have made a better way? changed the person with whom we have a problem? done something awesome towards a perfect solution?
why we do not pray? why we do not use the best resource we have? He would do everything perfect in our life.
Jesus also explained what God would do....
"And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”" Luke 18:7-8 (NKJV)
He said...He will answer speedily, yet He awaiteth our prayers.
I have wonderfully experienced the goodness of prayer, nowadays if I have some beyond my understanding I rush to pray and its always the same, a deep peace a great hope and an assured faith.
What God said in Philippians 4:6-7 is really true and it works....
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)
Try it out...the choice is yours...be anxious and break your head everywhere or pray and receive the peace and comfort of God, it all matters on what you chose, to pray or not to pray.
Experience God in prayer, He is too good to be missed.
God Bless,
Abraham
