Whatever your status is, have you taken the time to ask yourself this simple but relevant question: What do I still lack? Can you identify the missing thing in your life? What is that? Then how do you plan to acquire it?
It is possible that you may not be able to answer the question correctly, ask a man of God near you or your Maker, God.
It is even more difficult for those who have material things to answer this question rightly. They need to ask someone else.
The answer to this poser is very relevant to you and your life here on earth and hereafter.
The Lord Jesus provides you the right answer: "...come, follow Me."
What brings about this type of answer? It is the love that the Lord has for mankind. He does not want anyone to labor in vain with heavy load the evil one brings. He doesn't want anyone to struggle without any rest. He states, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy ladden, and I will give you rest."
If you love yourself, you must be interested in the rest for your soul. Therefore answer His call to come and follow Him.
Also, He wants you in comfort to come to Him because rest does not consist in the quantity of material things owned. If you are blessed, you must follow the Person that blessed you. His blessing in your life must not turn you to His enemy.
In the same vein, if you are comfortable and have fulfilled all commandments of God, He calls you to come and follow Him that you may be perfect before your God.
Please, don't feel too big to do this!
Abraham was a 99-years old rich man when God commanded him thus: "I am Almighty God, walk before Me and be blameless."
This came about after the two have walked together for some years.
Therefore, by this write-up, the Lord is revealing what you still lack: following and walking with Him blamelessly.
Listen to Him today because tomorrow may be late.
NB: Scripture quotations from New King James Version of the Bible are Matthew 19:20(f);11:28; Genesis17:1; 13:2.
