Do you remember walking in the desert with no water in sight for miles? Life is throwing you curve balls from the East, West, North and South. You get up and another one hits you square in the face. But as God exhorts us in Isaiah “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” We need to let go of the past negative experiences we have had in the desert. God is doing a brand new thing in our lives as He has stated in the above verse from Isaiah! Forget the former things.

God is declaring to us in our lives today that He is making a way in the desert and streams in the desert. No matter how dry the circumstance seems or how dark the tunnel is He is creating a way in the wastelands. His Word is a lamp in the midst of the valley of death and He will walk us through that valley or that circumstance that seems like it has no end. Walking with Jesus there is an end because He is the beginning and the end.

I was eighteen years old and lost in the world of drugs walking in that wasteland for four solid years; with no way out and no way to escape.I found Jesus in the midst of that hurt, hopelessness and despair. He turned my life around and turned my desert into a fertile garden by the power and cleansing of His stream land, His word. He did for me so long ago ,He can do it for you!Start walking!
