Can Anyone See Your Faith?
James 2:18, ESV: "But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works."
We have a problem similiar to what Jesus encountered. We proclaim something that no one can see. For Jesus it was forgiveness of sins. No one could see the forgiveness of sins or determine Jesus identity by His verbal claim to do so. Likewise, no one can identify us by our verbal claim to have faith.
Jesus rectified His situation by performing visable miracles. The only way we can rectify ours is by our visable works.
Good works are a fruit and not a root of our salvation.
