Listen and accept this word,
Adhere to all that is heard;
They will add years to your life,
And help you cope with the strife.

I teach the way of wisdom,
For the heavenly kingdom;
Guiding you on the right path,
So you will be spared the wrath.

When you walk remain humble,
So that you will not stumble;
Never to hamper your stride,
As long as you do abide.

Cling unto the discipline,
That will steer you from the sin;
Allow not to relax your grip,
Constrain on words from your lip.

Do not detour on the path,
That God would display His wrath;
That path has only evil,
And controlled by the devil.

Avoid it and go not near,
Turn away for much to fear;
Keep walking some will not sleep,
As evil lurks and will creep.

Evil thrives throughout the night,
Till the dawn of morning light;
That is where the righteous stay,
And is brighter than the midday.
