Here are a few pages of notes, that is, my thoughts while I lived in Hollywood, CA back in 1999. My mother and I lived at 2018 N. Highland Ave and I was pursuiing acting career but also had to make a living in the mean time. I was experimenting with MLM as a business venture and found this to be pretty much a waste of time, money and effort but certainly a learning experience. I did meet a few friends from this such as Gregory Heard and Marty Kincaid. Marty was a phone friend. We never met in person. He lived in New Jersey so we communicated mostly by email using my Web TV and telephone.

Weave human interest stories into your talk, to your speech or presentation. Instead of thinking about developing a marketing message why not start out with what I'm good at already. I mean I haven't proved myself in marketing yet but I have developed a lot of friendships. I have been brought up by a great grandmother. I have lived with my aunt and uncle. I mean how many people were reared by a great grandmother and then moved to live with their aunt and uncle and then were put into an institution for children and then a foster home? So that's four different living environments and then live with a schizophrenic mother-now that's pretty interesting and then also had a drug addict live in their garage. So those are the things I probably can touch upon with people and make a human emotional connection by writing something or publishing some type of book.

My book on Toastmasters would be good. What else?
I've got to have that first icebreaker tape.

There's more people interested in hearing about human interest stories and relationships How To Win Friends And Influence People. Just look how great that book did. That book has sold more than any book about marketing I would imagine because when you talk about marketing you're talking mainly to business people and yes there are alot of businesses out there but not nearly as many businesses as individuals and families.

Talk about the Incredible Journey, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Brian's Song- Gayle Sayers and Brian Piccolo both running backs for the Chicago Bears.
Pick out some stories and make them interesting.

People love stories.

Talk about Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, maybe Amelia Erhart, Charles Lindberg. Pick out some of the leaders of this century.

How To Master The Art Of Intimacy

If you master the principles of human relationships you can learn a lot about the laws of relating by reading Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin. They had rules for making relationships work.

You can learn a lot through history books- reading biographies, determining what made great historic friendships work. (If you will set the goal of mastering these techniques you can become an expert at intimacy and write your own book on how to master the art of intimacy. Learn these skills as surely as you can learn the piano or program a computer. I'm not saying that these skills are easy to master for relationships are exceedingly complex but they can be learned. Becoming an expert at friendships will be one of the most rewarding projects of your lifetime)

You know there is a book called Relationship Selling and if its true that marketing or selling is based upon relationships i.e. developing a customer for life, rather than selling him one time then we'd better cultivate the art of mastering relationships or friendships. It's not enough just to make sales now. We have to gain these customers for life and sell them over and over again. Thats what good marketing is. Selling to more people more stuff, more often. Getting more prospects to visit our website getting them to buy, getting them to buy more often and getting them to buy stuff more often. So the basics of internet marketing are the same as the basics for any type of marketing. Selling more things to more people more often or selling to more people more things more often.
