Leadership
God’s Choice
God Created And Made
Many times we as the people of God make choices by what we see rather than what God’s choice is. God chose David but the people wanted Saul as King. King Saul disobeyed God while David was yet being made to be King. God’s choice is never the popular person to man but he is the one with the favor of God upon his life. He has been made for such a time. When we go outside of a person we choose wrong but when we go inside the heart of a man we will find God reigns. Who man is; is what God created him to be on the inside. The spiritually created being that has been made by God to lead is one that will obey God, follow his lead, and love people; all the people regardless to the color of their skin. I have never seen white or black dirt. I have however seen brown and red dirt. Everything else came from a mixture of the two.
God did not create man in their present state. If He had then he would be just as no good as man. God Created man in his image a spirit being after God’s likeness which in that state man could not take care of the earth that God had created. God asked the earth to give up the dust to make a man a fleshly body. God made man a body and put what He created inside of that body. Man evolved from the earth in his fleshly state. He was created in his spiritual state. God created and made. Man in like manner creates and makes.
Genesis 1:26-27 then God said speaking to the Angels said “let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth”. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field began to grow and the rain would fall upon the earth, God had to have a man to till the ground.
Genesis 2:7-8 and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
What man has seen God at any time? God is not a man; He is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Another thing about God is He sits high and looks low. He sees everything we do, knows our thoughts, and hears all that we speak. Trust me He is looking and assessing the political aspects of the people in the world; not just America. He is noting the disrespect for the office that He has put to head up the United States and abroad. No man that says they love God will lie no matter what their Christian denomination. God judge a man accordingly to his works, words, and acts; not religion. Religion was done away with when Jesus came. Man must exercise some prudence in how they conduct themselves.
We have to be careful about what we say concerning God, show some caution in how we deliver ourselves to man rather than God. Men were told to walk circumspectly in the world being practical, sensible, wise, and discerning. When God chose to make man, he took his time. It takes time to make a man. A man stands strong and sure when they have been created and made for an assignment. We must be careful about what we hear; Job said in Job 34:4 the ear tries words, as the mouth tastes meat. David in Psalm 112:5 said that a man will guide his affairs with discretion. Solomon in Proverbs 8:12 said I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. Man can feed us some stuff that is unbelievable and try to make it so realistic we will be deceived if we aren’t wise to their cunning manipulations. Proverbs 11:13 a talebearer revels secrets; but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter. The fool shall be servant to the wise in heart. Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart.
God’s created leader leads with prudence; covers shame, his wrath is unknown, don’t lean to foolishness, kills folly but deals with knowledge and understands his way. He doesn’t go on a trip without counting up the cost first. He considers others, looks well to his goings, fear and departs from evil, will not utterly lie, but the fool rages and is confident. He holds a strong military hand as he perfects the organization and develops his ideas. He builds and fortifies on strengths and weaknesses to organize strong armies. He makes the most of foreign alliances in strengthening his power. His sole intent is to build strong relationships and keep his accomplishment within the realm of God. He don’t seek to make himself known of reaching accomplishments that is expensive to maintain with the other nations of the world.
The simple one that wants to make themselves a King inherit folly but the prudent are crowned with knowledge according to Solomon in Proverbs 14:18. Solomon was the son of David; the King chosen of God. He was the son born to David by Bathsheba. He succeeded his father upon the throne, as the last ruler of the United Kingdom. Solomon was David’s choice for his won successor. Although he was young, perhaps 12 to 15 years of age, he was able to become King with the aid of Bathsheba and Nathan the prophet, in spite of the efforts of the other sons of David to gain control of the throne themselves. God’s choice is never the popular one. In spite of the efforts of the other sons Solomon still became King and carried out the work of his father.
In the world today there is much discontent among social and economic policies. Forced labor is not used. Solomon was a wise man and leaders and kings today also must be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Solomon was a man with a special gift of wisdom. His judgment in I Kings 3:16 with the two mothers and a child showed his knowledge of human nature. He didn’t judge the woman whose child had died but he showed understanding of how she felt. He didn’t stone her because she wanted a child. He just showed her that the choice she made to claim the other woman’s child was wrong. He respected her right to want to love.
To lead we must have love, compassion, prudence, diligence, and righteousness. Our judgments must be right. Our interest in religion must not be from an outward aspect but in demonstration and show from the heart. A man in himself can be carried away from their own ideas for leadership through a desire for show and power through foreign alliances. This lifestyle with foreign entities within will drive one far away from the order once prescribed by God and will take a nation away from God’s peace and cause wars. Though our Government is one of peace we still pay outward respect to the heads of different nations. Solomon was one that kept world peace. Solomon’s wisdom was most impressive.
Wisdom is life and ignorance is death. We choose today what is put before us. Kindness is tempered with truth. Only if you tell me the truth do you love me. I have to question the love of many that says they love. Kindness brings its own reward; it characterizes a nation, but righteousness exalts a nation. A sinful people however are objects of pity and always wants their faults atoned for. God’s choice leader is kind and this makes them most attractive; genuine kindness is rare. God’s choice leader is one of charity, no how to get around the tempter, guards their tongue, has a good family life, business life, public life, and social life.
God’s choice leader is not foolish, sluggish, morally bad, stupid or senseless an definitely not empty minded, have intemperance or unconscionable but is full of principles and honesty. God’s choice leader fear Him and keep their hearts with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. The words of a leader are pure. He doesn’t answer a fool according to his folly unless he being labeled like him also is foolish. A prudent man foresees the evil and hides himself in the realm of safety. To not answer turns away wrath. Ecclesiastes 7:16-17 be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise; why should thou destroy thyself? Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish; why should thou die before thy time? Jesus Christ said it like this in Matthew 5:25 agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him. Matthew 7:6 give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
God’s choice leader knows as James 1:19 says; wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. Look among us and find that God chosen leader. Mark them by their words, actions, deeds, and the respect they have for themselves and others.
