What Do You Have In Your Hand?
by Bayo Omoyiola, Jr.
And Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? tell me, what have you in the house? And she said, Your handmaid has not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil - 2 Kings 4:2
Our God is a God of miracles. There is no doubt he is. He has done many miracles and would still do much more miracles. Hallelujah! But there is something you need to remember. God often requires a trigger from us before he produces the miracles. You can call it a miracle button. Sometimes You need to press it before you can have the miracle you desire. For over two decades now, since I started walking with God till now, I have seen God move in powerful ways. Many times I release my faith for a miracle and the next thing I see is that God has used my faith as a raw material to produce a miracle. It has happened over and over again. At times, it's a seed. I plant a seed and God uses the seed to give me my desired harvest (miracle). At times, it is obedience. I respond to what he says. I do them and I get my miracle.
Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God. Indeed God requires our faith. Your faith in him moves him to work on your behalf. When you demonstrate that you trust him, he is pleased and becomes delighted to help you. God often requires a raw material. Jesus asked his disciples - how many loaves do you have? They had access to few loaves and few fishes and gave them to Jesus and he multiplied it. When you surrender your seed to God, he uses it as a raw material to produce a mighty harvest that would meet all your needs. Jesus thanked God for the loaves and fishes and a miracle was produced. The loaves and fishes were multiplied and was more than enough to feed thousands of people. What do you have in your hand? God can use it to give you your desired miracle. He asked Moses - what do you have in your hand? He answered and said a rod. From that day, that rod became a miraculous rod. Release what you have to God and he will enlarge it. Hallelujah! Beloved, it is your season. It is your harvest time. Use your mouth (rod number 1) and the word (rod number 2) to produce your miracles. Pray and prophesy until something happens and don't forget to keep on sowing. God is about to do something new in your life. Your harvest is on the way. If you believe, shout - hallelujah!!!!!!!
Prayer:
Father GOD, I believe in your word for the season and I release my faith for its fulfilment. Let the harvest begin. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name.
