Soul Coming Out of Hell
Bring them out! God told Jesus to bring the souls of man back out of hell and He did that.
Give them something to hold on to! God is right there when we come to Him with a broken heart and He saves us when we are of a contrite spirit. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart and He will not be despised. He is nigh all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him. He also will hear their cry and will save them. He heals the broken in hear and binds up our wounds. Jesus said in Matthew 5:4 blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Jesus offered to every man the opportunity to live and come in the light out of the pit that leads to hell.
Matthew 11:28-30 come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Jesus is saying we can come with a penitent heart and receive the grace of God. We must first be sorry for our sins and faults with deep regret, implying that we are sad over what we have done wrong to the point that it humbles us where we don’t desire to do the sin again. We then seek a resolution to remain sincere about our decision and develop a strong resolve to change. Repentance can only be accomplished with a complete change of character. Contrition stresses the sorrowful regret that constitutes true penitence usually tears following. Compunction implies a painful sting of conscience for contemplated wrongdoing. We must have some remorse, prolonged and insistent self-reproach and mental anguish for past wrongs and for those whose consequences cannot be remedied.
Through the redemptive work of Christ we have something to hold on to. We have faith to believe that God will help us and will always be there and make a way for us. We have a work to do also. Stay penitent, keep our hearts to always feel regret for wrongdoings, feel regret for sin so that it sticks us like a needle for it to be present in our lives. Stay humble and build up an offensive line in our hearts against sin and offenses. Follow the Word daily, read it and not only that but study it, meditate on it day and night. Keep a strong prayer life and repent even when others do you wrong through forgiveness. Keep a forgiving spirit that we humbly submit to all of God’s Ordinances in the right spirit. We are people under Church censure but admitted to penance or reconciliation under the direction of a confessor; we must keep our confession true. We cannot allow Satan to steal the testimony of Jesus Christ that we have come to know in our lives. We must keep our salvation, keep our minds free; keep our souls out of hell.
We cannot develop the inflammation of sin. The Word is the penicillin we need to keep that we are not inflicted again with the nastiness of the infection of sin. We trust the Word so we keep the desire of mixing sin in our lives again. We don’t want to be incarcerated in our minds that we keep this mixture of hell’s fire in our lives. We must labor for the great salvation we have been given. Employ our minds with the Word of God, fill our hearts with the Holy Ghost and then give Him complete residence that He dwell and control our spiritual heart and lead us through temptations. Christ has taken away the yoke of sin that once burdened us to the point that we dragged around with our heads between our legs. He was so hell bent we couldn’t straighten our bodies upright as we had been made. Our rests lies in Christ for only He can give us that peace. He brought heaven down to earth and offered us a ride back from earth to glory; how can we deny Him that only had our best at heart?
We need to take his yoke and learn of him. How can we follow someone or something that we know nothing about? We must become like Him, he is our perfect example of soul salvation; meek and lowly in heart. Rest for our soul lies only in Christ for His yoke is easy and burdens are light. Jesus has given us something to hold on to; hope. Hope thou in God? We were foolish sometimes, disobedient, deceived, we served our bodies in diver lusts and pleasures; lived in malice and envy, was hateful and we hated one another. But now we have forgiveness and can’t be hasty in spirit not to forgive others their transgressions and offenses towards us. We can’t be hasty in spirit to spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools. We are not to answer a fool according to his folly unless we become like them. We don’t want to be like the dog that returns to his own vomit. We don’t want to be wise in our own conceit for there is more hope for a fool than us.
Forgiveness is a virtue. The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbles. Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me; I will render to the man according to his work. If thine enemy be hungry, give him brad to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink; for thou shall heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Resist not evil but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Whosoever compel you to go a mile go two. Keep thy salvation, be kind one to another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven us.
We must continuously not render evil for evil or railing for railing, but contrariwise blessing.
