Testimonies
I am concerned about the serious problem presented to us as human beings by the omission of the teaching of the fact of Hell.
Quite likely that sentence has turned you off and you think I am one of Those who preaches fire and brimstone and tries to scare people.
No. I only know that snakes and poison spiders and playing in the traffic can be harmful to your health. So in the case you have not been told about the fact that Hell is real, as is Heaven, then someone needs to make the fact known.
I am one who will be happy to be persecuted by any who wish to disdain me for the telling of the fact.
Jesus spoke of Hell more often that He spoke of Heaven. Why would He do that? Because He wants us to be informed so that we will understand that refusing the Gift of Salvation which He offers to us will cause our eternal living place to be in Hell, and not to be in Heaven with Him where He wants for us to live forever.
Jesus went through a lot to provide us a way to get to Heaven. He knows there is a Hell and He never intended humans to go there, it was created for Satan and his legion of followers.
Therefore, if we refuse Jesus and His offer of salvation, then we have assigned ourselves to live in Hell. That is not very smart. But maybe no one ever told you why “You must be saved;” why you must ask Jesus to be your Savior.
There are those who deny that there is a Hell.
That is interesting because they haven’t died yet and they really don’t know. They have a strong opinion.
I will tell you the true story of a man that I know well, who died and went to Hell. It is a medical fact that he died. They managed to resuscitate him but he was dead long enough to go to Hell and when he came back, he is a very different person.
This man was unfaithful in marriage, he drank too much, and he used drugs in front of his children, and accused me of trying to stuff religion down the children’s throats.
I talked with him about his salvation and he maintained that he was “saved.” He was raised in Church and had even gone to Christian Schools. He had even gone forward and asked Jesus to save him.
He was a heavy burden to me because his children and his wife were my daughter and my grand-children. I had to chink the financial cracks many times and watch the desperate dysfunction and depression in the family.
Yes I did pray for him. I could find only this prayer in my heart; “Lord, snatch him out of Hell as he is slipping in.”
The marriage broke and not without damage to my daughters faith.
The months passed and I heard that my son-in-law had had surgery for a brain cancer and was unemployed, living in a storage unit. The Lord emphatically spoke in my heart that I was to being him to my house.
When he came I learned about his experience in Hell. He was so different. Not a perfect person, but so different in his attitudes and speech. He was not against God anymore. He takes good care of his sons that are also living with me. He doesn’t yell at them. He is enrolled in a two year college program to be able to take care of his children better. His grades are As and Bs.
I did not see the horrors that he describes when he was in Hell, but do I believe he went there… you bet I do!
This is not the only reason that I believe there is a Hell. My main reason is because Jesus said so.
There is a way, The Way, that keeps us out of Hell, and Jesus tells us that we must be born again to stay out of Hell. He says we must receive Him as our Savior.
Read these following verses and do accordingly and you will never see the horrors of Hell. You will rather see only the beauty and peace of Heaven.
“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“When we were still sinners, Christ died for us, the Godly for the ungodly; in this He has demonstrated His love for us. While we were still sinners He died for us."
"Since we have now been justified by His Blood, how much more shall we be saved from the wrath of God through Jesus!” Romans 5: 8,9
“There is no difference in human kind; ALL who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
“So, if we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED!”
“It is with your heart that you believe and are justified and with your mouth you confess unto salvation.” Romans 10: 9, 10, 12.
Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and no man comes to the Father, (God) except by me.” John 14:6
“Therefore, fear not them that can only kill the body; fear Him rather Who can destroy both body and soul in Hell.” Matthew 10:28
That was from the mouth of Jesus, Who gave Himself in our place, so that we may never see Hell.
Tell Him, “I receive the salvation that You offer to me now!”
Say out loud, “Save me now Jesus,” recalling that ALL who call upon His Name, shall be saved.”
