Have you sought and fought for what God’s got for you? Getting God sounds like it would be pretty difficult because He’s so ominous and we’re not. But maybe we have the best way of attracting God’s attention because we are so small. God’s into small things in a big way. Matthew 7:13 says “Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.” It may be your very weakness that will get God.

First Cor. 1:27 tells us that “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; and the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” True strength comes through a humble heart that gives instead of takes, weeping for instead of whispering about. Second Cor. 13:4 says Jesus was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by God's power. Likewise, we are weak in Him, yet by God's power we will be made strong in Him to serve others. Because Jesus made Himself of no reputation and didn’t answer His accusers, letting Himself be condemned to death.

Jesus now sits at the right hand of His Father in heaven with all power and glory because of being risen from the dead freely giving of Himself for your sin so you may live with Him in paradise forever. All power was given to Jesus because of His willingness to become small for the call of all who sin. The very thought of the God of heaven and earth coming to save my little life makes me feel awfully small. Oh, well I guess that means I’m prime and just in time to get God because He’s looking for someone with weakness to show His strength in.
